Danny Dollar Academy is a program based on the book Danny Dollar Millionaire Extraordinaire. A curriculum developed to teach 3-5th graders about financial literacy, and entrepreneurship through reading literacy. This session will provide information about the program. Attendees will have the chance to meet the author and discuss the curriculum.

Abdullah Al-Bahrani (Director of the Center for Economic Education at Northern Kentucky University) Highland Heights, Kentucky

Abdullah Al-Bahrani is the Director of the Center for Economic Education at Northern Kentucky University. In partnership with Ty Allan Jackson, he developed the Danny Dollar Academy. Abdullah has made an effort to increase diversity of thought, and increase cultural representation through the programs he develops. Danny Dollar Academy is a book written to help increase the racial diversity in financial literacy education.

Abdullah's research on economic education has been published in International Review of Economic Education, Journal of Economic Education, Journal of Economics and Economic Education Research, Journal of Economics and Finance Education, and Southern Economic Journal.

Ty Jackson (Author at Big Head Books) Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Ty Allan Jackson is a children’s book author, publisher, community leader, literacy advocate and motivational speaker.
